Our New Future

COVID-19 A study referenced in the popular magazine Psychology Today concluded that it takes an average of 66 days for a behavior to become automatic. If that’s true, that’s good news for business leaders who have spent the past five months running their companies in ways they never could have imagined.  The COVID-19 pandemic is a full-stop on business as usual and a launching pad for organizations to become virtual, digital-centric and agile — and to do it all at lightning-fast speed.   Now, as leaders look ahead to the next year and beyond, they’re asking: How do we keep this momentum going?  How do we take the best of what we’ve learned and put into practice throughout the pandemic, and make sure it’s woven into everything we do going forward? “Business leaders are saying that they’ve accomplished in 10 days what used to take them 10 months,” says Kate Smaje, a senior partner and global co-leader of McKinsey Digital. “That kind of speed is what’s unleashing a ...

WORLD POLITICS There’s a ‘real danger’ of China developing separate systems from the rest of the world, expert says

PUBLISHED WED, SEP 9 202010:09 PM EDT KEY POINTS The cost of a U.S.-China “decoupling” would be high, but that does not mean Beijing will not choose to create systems that are “mutually exclusive” from the rest of the world,, said Robert Daly of the Wilson Center’s Kissinger Institute on China and the United States. “There is a real danger of China and ... much of the rest of the world developing separate financial systems for things like payments of international debts and payments for trade,” he said. Daly also said that talk of decoupling from the U.S. is “more than just campaign rhetoric” from the Trump administration. for further information click here: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/10/china-could-develop-systems-that-are-separate-from-the-world-expert.html

PFIZER, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, GENERAL ELECTRIC & MORE ACCUSED OF FUNDING TERRORISM IN IRAQ

Big Pharma On October 17, over 100 U.S. veterans and relatives of American soldiers who were either injured or killed during the Iraq war filed a federal lawsuit against numerous U.S. and European Big Pharma companies. These aren’t just tiny corporations, they’re some of the leading companies in the medical industry, including Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer.   Those involved in the lawsuit are claiming that these companies regularly paid officials in Iraq’s Ministry of Health, who then used the money to fund the militia that was responsible for many attacks against U.S. troops.   So, why are Big Pharma companies funding Iraq’s Ministry of Health, and more importantly, did they know the money would end up in the hands of terrorists?   Lawsuit Against Big Pharma Companies Funding Terrorists It seems sort of strange that Big Pharma companies, especially those based in the U.S., would fund the very terrorist organizations that were attacking U.S. troo...

CDC DIRECTOR RESIGNS, BUT CDC CONFLICTS OF INTEREST ARE PAR FOR THE COURSE

By The World Mercury Project Team   Media outlets are announcing the abrupt resignation of Brenda Fitzgerald, the physician appointed in July, 2017 to head the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  The resignation follows on the heels of reporting by Politico, which uncovered conflicts of interest pertaining to dubious investment decisions made by Fitzgerald after she became the nation’s top public health official—including the purchase of thousands of dollars of tobacco, pharmaceutical and health care stocks. Individuals interviewed by Politicodescribe the trading decisions as “sloppy” and “ridiculous” at best and “legally problematic” at worst.  Most headlines are focusing exclusively on the CDC director’s investments in tobacco companies, which strike observers as hypocritical in light of Fitzgerald’s prioritization of tobacco prevention initiatives while serving as public health commissioner for the state of Georgia prior to joining CDC.  However, Fi...

European Police

Spanish National Police and Guardia Civil join forces with Europol in a hit against Iraqi illegal immigration to the EU On 17 January 2018, Europol supported seven mixed teams of Spanish National Police (Policía Nacional) and Guardia Civil in a successful strike against Iraqi illegal immigration in which six individuals were arrested in Spain. The criminal organisation transferred Iraqi illegal immigrants from their country into the Schengen Zone. The investigation began last February when Spanish police officers found six individuals from Iraq inside a refrigerated truck in Teruel (Spain). On the same day and later on in March they located two people concealed in the same conditions in Valencia, alongside eight illegal immigrants in Teruel, who called the emergency services as they feared they were dying from the cold inside the truck. The network transferred the Iraqi illegal immigrants from Spain to the UK inside refrigerated trucks. The criminals took advantage when the driv...
